There is no one size fits all when it comes to educator well-being. Being curious and innovative comes with the territory when trying to shift culture, foster belonging, and develop accessible solutions. No one knows that better than educators working to support staff well-being.

Innovation must truly come from everywhere to create cultures where they [education employees] can feel cared for, respected, and are given the opportunity to flourish.

Working with educators across the state, from all identities, and job classifications, we have the unique role of sharing ideas and being a connector of resources. From learning from grantees who consistently develop creative solutions to meet the well-being needs of their staff, to diversifying benefit offerings to more equitably distribute resources and funding, the Trust is always open to new ideas and working to put them into action.

As the landscape of education continues to change, I am constantly in awe of the competing demands on educators’ time, energy, and well-being. Innovation must truly come from everywhere to create cultures where they can feel cared for, respected, and are given the opportunity to flourish.
