At Oregon Well-Being Trust, one of our core values is “Relationships are at the heart of our work.”
I love this because it recognizes our humanity in everything we do. The Trust staff model this in their everyday work, which is an encouragement to our grantees. We want to empower Oregon’s education employees to take control of their health and wellness.
“
The bottom line is that people need people.
One of the ways we do this is by cultivating relationships between the Trust’s grant liaisons and our grantees throughout Oregon. This, in turn, helps our grantees foster relationships with each other as they reach out to discover the wellness needs of their colleagues that can be addressed through their grant funding.
The bottom line is that people need people. Elevating the importance of relationships is only one of the ways that Oregon Well-Being Trust acknowledges our need to connect with one another.
