In September 2024, Oregon Well-being Trust hosted its first rejuvenation station at the Coalition of School Administrators (COSA)  2024 Oregon Equity Summit. The station helps education employees experience the benefits of gratitude, mindfulness, stress relief, laughter, and more.

Conference attendees spent time in the quiet space to decompress, relax, and tend to their well-being during the busy days of the event. Soft lighting, fabric walls, and noise-cancelling headphones provided a soothing and low-sensory environment.

A digital guided meditation video, doodle coloring pages and a deck of affirmation cards called “The Nap Ministry’s Rest Deck: 50 Practices to Resist Grind Culture” allowed participants to ground in the present moment.

Elements like healing herbal teas and chocolate helped boost moods and decrease stress. The rejuvenation station also offered massage tools and anti-gravity chairs for physical relaxation.

We are grateful to COSA for being our inaugural collaborative partner to create this special space for conference goers!

Rejuvenation stations are a great way to bring awareness to the need for education employee well-being  and collective care at your workplaces and events.
